Alison Waldman (she/her) is a movement artist, wellness educator and thought leader. Alison is as an advisor and on-the-ground facilitator for healthcare leaders across industries to foster cultures of community building and radical inclusivity to their spaces through creative wellness.
Alison has a superpower for getting even the most skeptical people moving their bodies. She is the architect of wellness initiatives for healthcare communities. Since 2013 she has led performances, pop-ups, yoga, and dance parties in unexpected places from hospital hallways and conferences to parks and parking lots.
Alison is an RYT-200 yoga teacher with additional certifications in yoga4cancer, Accessible Yoga, trauma-informed yoga, chair yoga, and bed yoga. She is a lifetime student of movement modalities.
In her free time Alison can be found baking in practice of defending her State Fair blue ribbons, mentoring college students in entrepreneurship, learning the ukulele, and taking walks with her dog Sesame. She lives with her partner in Washington, D.C.
