We bring the science and soul of yoga, movement, and mindfulness to places of work to improve focus and office culture. Sessions are customized to your work environment and community needs to do your best work – from five-minute stretch breaks for each unit to group seated stretch sessions and yoga classes.
I reached out to Alison with a unique request – we wanted to hold a virtual wellness workshop for our team of employees, who are scattered across the entire country. She was extremely responsive and open to the idea, and we worked together to figure out the logistics. Using Skype, she gave a wonderful presentation about mindfulness and movement in the workplace and followed it up by leading us through some “live” demonstrations of breathing techniques and stretches. She was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and our employees loved the workshop. It felt like a mini yoga session from the comfort of our own desks. Thanks for everything, Alison! – Janelle Woodcock, CBRE

Why wellness at work?
Workplace wellness programs average a 6:1 return on investment.
- Work Design Magazine
Yoga, mindfulness, and wellness practices are about presence, awareness, and reconnecting potential within ourselves. These positive affirmations are essential in every aspect of our lives and especially at work, where many of us spend the majority of our waking hours. Demanding schedules and 21st century work standards cause many people to feel trapped by their desks. Meanwhile, burnouts are happening at fast rates and ideas of what an ideal workplace provides are shifting.
Mindfulness practices and physical activity re-energizes us, helping us feel more connected to our work by relieving nagging tension and activating the creative and most focused parts of our brains. Incorporating mindfulness at work helps manage stress triggers and multi-tasking tendencies and sharpens the ability to focus, visualize goals, and create realistic expectations of productivity.
These techniques don't require any special equipment and can be practiced anywhere. They just might also spill over into other parts of life and make healthy habits feel more possible. This puts us back in charge of our lives and cheers the best version of ourselves forward.
What’s the benefit?
- Lower health care costs. Organizations may find that offering this employee perk lowers their company’s health insurance coverage premiums.
- Happier employees and greater staff retention. Introducing mindfulness and yoga into the workplace helps employees tap into the sense of peace and purpose while in their workplace, and feel valued by their employer. This can prevent burnout and reduce the number of sick days taken on average.
- Improved office culture. An office culture of mindfulness facilitates overall healthier relationships between colleagues and with the organization’s mission.
- Another (great) reason to come to work. It removes one of the largest hurdles the working professional has in making time for self-care – harnessing the time and energy to get to a studio, gym, or class.
